Founded to honor Benjamin.
Ben Guard exists because one family lived the problem — and refused to let other children face it the same way.
Benjamin's story is the mission.
Benjamin was diagnosed with brain cancer just before his third birthday. His first surgery placed a central line so he could begin treatment and receive supportive care.
During his six-year battle, his central line was pulled out, infected, and replaced more than 20 times. Each complication meant another painful procedure, delayed treatment, and added risk for a child who was already fighting for his life.
Ben Guard was created to change that experience for other children, families, and care teams: safer line protection, less improvisation, and pediatric medical wearables that protect the line and the dignity of the child.
